I love to shop the clearance aisles of Hobby Lobby and HomeGoods. There is usually a fabulous treasure or two that I just can’t live without. Yesterday when I went to pick up my order from Penny’s (yes my new spread for the master bedroom makeover is a winner – finally) of course I had to do a little shopping while I was in town.
Hobby Lobby had some great scores. I love these gold candlesticks. Light and airly and for $4.08 a total steal.
I think these are so interesting, totally different than my other brass candlesticks.
I added them to my tablescape, I think they are a great finishing touch.
HomeGoods always has the most wonderful trays. I have eyed this brass greek key mirrored tray for a while, so I was thrilled when I found this one on the clearance aisle. I couldn’t find anything wrong with it and for $14 it jumped in my basket.
I placed it as the center of this tablescape. I think I can use it anywhere and will definitely become one of my all time favorites. (I love trays, don’t you?)
This is the vase that my Mother’s Day flowers came in from my daughter, so finding the perfect size candle to put inside was on my list and of course you can always find candles on the clearance aisle of HomeGoods. This one was $3.
Last week I scored this gold leaf initial at Hobby Lobby. They go on 1/2 off sale all the time, so for a big letter and impact, $10 was super cheap.
Hobby Lobby always has a display of pretty bottles. Since I have been adding a pop of pink in my bedroom and bathroom, this pretty bottle with the gorgeous bird stopper was just the perfect addition. Clearance aisle for $4.

I had a fun day shopping, it’s always a blast when you find tons of treasures and at such great prices too. Not bad for a total of $39.16.
