I just had to try a couple more combinations with all the linens I am finding for the guest bedroom. So here are two more.
The comforter reverses to the windowpane plaid, so I had to try it with the red vine print dust ruffle.
A polka dot pillow is the exact same shade of red. I found this pretty fabric in the $1 bin. Perfect color match to the vine dust ruffle.
Now this looks rather masculine to me. This would work when the grandsons stay over, they aren’t into flowers and fluff.
Turn the comforter back over to the toile side and still leave the red print. I love the way the french mix a ton of fabrics and I love to mix them as well, so the more the merrier.
The polka dot mixed with the toile and vine print.
The sun is so bright, it is hard to see, but this really is kind of nice. ( I have decided I like this best of all with the toile.) Well, I can just play to my hearts content.
The toile is so pretty with just the plain dust ruffle, however for $3.99, I love the addition of the red vine print. It can go with a ton of things. I also have a matlesse white cover. Ok, I won’t put that on right now.
I don’t normally change my bedding so often, but with all these super finds and at these prices, I am having a ball. You can see the original Brown and Red here and how I put the room together for $49.
Cost so far for all the bedding changes – – -Everything came from Goodwill
3 dust ruffles at $3.99 each (muslin – off white eyelet – red vine)
Brown comforter $10 (1/2 price day)
Toile comforter $18.62 (25% off day)
